Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods compact hitch mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Jeep Cherokee. Now this is gonna be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you if you've maybe run out of space on the inside on a road trip or maybe you're just taking a trip to the hardware store picking up some things like mulch or concrete that tend to rip and make a mess inside the vehicle and you'd rather keep that mess outside where it's easy to clean. You can just hose this off with a hose whenever you get home and you're good to go. A lot easier than vacuuming out the interior of your vehicle. This is gonna be a good way to keep it compact too. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Jeep Cherokee. This is gonna be a hitch mounted carrier that is made of aluminum, keeping it very lightweight and easy to get in and out of your hitch or maybe hang up on the wall of your garage. Coming in at only a little above 20 pounds, but still capable of carrying up to 500 pounds. So pretty impressive capabilities. It's got these long, wide slats for putting all of your stuff on, which leaves the bottom mainly open for any sort of dirt and debris to fall through. more

Now right outta the gate I wanna show you just how well it fits. We've got our stock spare tire on here right now, so take this with a grain of salt, but this does clear with the back door on the Jeep. So if you wanted to load up some stuff, maybe for a road trip, into the back you do have very limited cargo space back here, but you could load it up, close all this down, and then load up your cargo carrier with extra stuff. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the Let's Go Aero Gear Deck 17 cubic feet enclosed cargo carrier, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. So the Let's Go Aero Gear deck is going to be a box that fits onto your hitch receiver. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff. In fact, it has a 500 pound weight capacity, which is a bit more than most of your other enclosed cargo boxes. Let's Go Aero also has even larger boxes like the gear space or their black boxes. I personally think this is a pretty balanced size for your Wagoneers though, because the larger ones I would see more on motor homes than the Wagoneers. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Lets Go Aero GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo box and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So right off the bat, if you need more cargo space, you want make sure that your cargo is covered and protected, this is gonna be one of the ways you can do that. Now, some of the features here is that instead of tilting away for more access to your hatch, this one actually slides out. So there's a pin here at the end where you just rotate that pin in order to release the slide out arms. It's an anti-rattle bolt, so it will also take a little bit of time before we come out, but once it does, I just hold the box by its handle, lift out and wait. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier for your hitches and seeing how it fits on this 2022 Jeep Cherokee. The hitch-mounted cargo carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you, maybe you're taking this out on a road trip and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage, because inside just isn't enough space, or you've got stuff that you never wanna put inside the vehicle to begin with, things like bags of mulch, soil, concrete from the hardware store, things that tend to rip and make a mess, it's a lot nicer to just keep it out here, and if it does make a mess, you can hose it off when you get home rather than in, vacuuming out the inside of your vehicle. Now, aside from all that, it's going to be aluminum, which makes this a very lightweight carrier, easy to get in and out of the hitch, and very much light enough to just hang up on the wall in your garage for easy storage when it's not in use. A lot of people don't think about that if they get a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, storing it is kind of an afterthought, and a lot of times with the heavier steel ones, they can be a pain to move around, they end up taking up floor space, so hanging on the wall is a nice option. And even though it's aluminum, it can support a weight capacity of 500 pounds, so it's built very strong. more

A cargo carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you when you're going on trips or maybe picking something up from the hardware store. Anything messy, things like bag of concrete, mulch, dirt, that's great to put out here, because if it tears, it doesn't make a mess inside your vehicle, this is a lot easier to clean off, most of it's probably gonna fall through the bars, but any dirt and debris left behind can just be hosed off. Or if you're going on a road trip and you need a place for everyone's luggage, maybe the back is too full, you've got a fully loaded car, out here is gonna be the next best place to store those suitcases. You've got a lot of options with this and it really expands the function of your vehicle. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum hitch mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. A cargo carrier, especially a hitch mounted one is a great way to get some extra stuff with you maybe on a road trip or maybe just to and from the hardware store. I always recommend these for things like bags of concrete, mulch, dirt, anything that tends to rip and maybe cause a mess inside your vehicle. These are more than capable of handling some heavy weight and with the open design, any dirt and debris will fall through it and anything that doesn't can easily get hosed off because it's aluminum you don't have to worry about rust and corrosion over time, it's gonna be very weather resistant while still maintaining a nice 500 pound weight capacity which should hold up very well for a long time. There's plenty of points for tie downs here. more

Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at our Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier here on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So this is an option for you for when you wanna create a little bit more cargo space, but you also want it slightly enclosed. So let's say you have your firewood here, you have your cooler here, but even if you have your slightly more valuable items in your cargo carrier, with the lockable functions that this has, this allows you to both carry it, keep it out of your Jeep Wrangler, but also try to lock it, so that people don't get to it. We'll take a look at how this works with our Wrangler, but first off, this is kind of a short cargo carrier, so you will need to use this with a hitch extender, which we already have on our Wrangler, that's because we need to clear that spare tire while also give ourselves a little extra clearance, so I'll give you the height measurement for that extender later just so you can see how it works with you and your own equipment. So we'll take some measurements first, because this is on the larger side for our cargo carriers. So it is a 23 by 47 inch long cargo carrier, we have the lid, we have this strap holding that lid into place, and that's what this kit comes with. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be a test fit on the Hollywood Racks cargo carrier, part number HR1485. Now, there's a couple of different ways you can use this cargo carrier. Right now we have it as a standalone carrier that you just have into your two inch receiver. You can purchase this as a kit with the Hollywood Racks sport rider SE two bike platform rack and you can add it on to the back of that platform rack so that you can carry your gear behind your bikes separate from the inside of your vehicle.Now, you do have a good amount of space with his cargo carrier. The weight limit for it in this standalone position is 220 pounds. It shrinks down to 100 pounds of weight limit when you have it on the back of your sport rider SE2.But we go 52 inches in our width right there for space. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be taking a look at the max tow cargo carrier with ramp. And that's going to be part number MT-70-275.Now this is a nice, basket-style cargo carrier that's going to be nice for your wheeled accessories, such as scooters. With the ramp down, you would simply just drive your scooter straight up onto our platform, strap it down, and then you're ready to go. As far as the ramp, it's going to be 60 inches long. However, we are going to see that from the start of the ramp to the outside of our vehicle, there's going to be some space there. So realistically, to open your ramp all the way up, you're only going to need about 48 inches of space right there. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited, we're test fitting the Rola 22 x 59 Cargo Carrier. Now, this offers steel construction, nice heavy duty black powder coat finish, and a 600 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is 59502.Now, cargo carriers like this are a really good way to free up space inside your vehicle for passengers or pets or keep dirty items out of your car. You'll see here we've got a really heavy duty platform base to it. It doesn't flex or bend like what you see with other cargo carriers. I like that the holes are really nice and large, so if you do have clumps of mud or rocks that happen to get up on there, it should just fall right down through.You got a raised rail all the way around the outside of the carrier. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the MaxxTow 30 by 50 wheelchair carrier with 48"-long ramp. That part number is MT70106. This has a 500 pound weight capacity and is designed to work with 2" hitches. The first thing we're going to start with is showing a couple of the different features and positions we can put our carrier into. This first position's going to be our loading position. You're going to be able to put whatever you need on your wheelchair carrier, whether that's a wheelchair, scooter, or a lawnmower, any other type of equipment like that. One great thing about this position is that before you load up your gear, if you need to, we do gain full access into our back hatch area to get anything in or out that we may need. more

Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Curt 24 x 60 Cargo Carrier, that part number is C18152. This is designed to work with 2" hitches and has a 500-lb weight capacity. We already have this installed on our vehicle, we're going to start off with a few measurements. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 12-1/2". Overall to our vehicle, we've got about 32". Our closest point is going to be about 7-3/4". On our Cherokee, you can see we have a single driver side exhaust, it does come straight out towards our carrier, sitting about 9-1/4" away, so just keep that in mind whenever you load up your carrier and your gear. You don't want any heat sensitive materials in the region of your exhaust. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're test fit of the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. That partner is C-C dash one zero zero. This is designed to work with two inch hitches only, it has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. I'll note while it does have a pretty high weight capacity, it is lightweight so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. The first thing we want to do is take a few measurements here. The bottom of our bolt, we're going to have about 11 inches. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 28 and a half inches, and our closest point is going to be about four and three quarter inches away. Now on our Grand Cherokee, we do have a single passenger side exhaust. more
